EUGENE KHAVINSON

President

Eugene Khavinson is the president and founder of Khavinson & Associates, P.C., formed in 2001. Since that time, Khavinson & Associates has vastly expanded to accommodate hundreds of cases and attorneys who practice in all five boroughs of New York City, as well as Westchester and Nassau Counties, and Federal Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Mr. Khavinson spent his early career working as an engineer, having graduated from Moscow Institute of Electronic Machinery Construction in 1973. In that capacity, Mr. Khavinson held various engineering supervisory positions, but he ultimately decided to take that experience and apply it to practicing law. He graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1994 and went on to practice corporate law, real estate law, business transactions, immigration law, and civil litigation. After years of working in well-known firms, Mr. Khavinson formed Khavinson & Associates, P.C. with the intention of serving diverse clients with varying legal issues in New York City and Philadelphia.

Under Mr. Khavinson’s guidance, Khavinson & Associates is an accomplished civil litigation firm that focuses on excellent client interactions and better client outcomes. Managing the attorneys and staff in the firm, Mr. Khavinson is a wealth of information stemming from 20+ years of law practice and his extensive background knowledge in engineering and management. Moreover, clients appreciate Mr. Khavinson’s straightforward approach to their cases and his ability and acumen as their advocate.

Mr. Khavinson is admitted to practice law in New York State and Pennsylvania, as well as Federal Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Southern District of New York.

TIM MANDRONICO

Managing Partner

Tim Mandronico is a partner and leads the firms litigation practice. Tim is also an accomplished senior trial attorney. He has dedicated himself throughout his career to fight for fair and just compensation for those suffering from injuries due to the negligence or fault of others.

In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Khavinson & Mandronico, P.C. law office, he concentrates his practice on advocating for clients who have been injured in construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability.

True to the spirit of Khavinson & Mandronico, P.C., Tim believes each and every case must be litigated zealously and aggressively to ensure clients get their day in court as soon as possible. He believes that developing a strong bond of trust with his clients is essential for effective litigation.

CHRISTIAN COPPINGER

Christian has 25 years of experience handling personal injury cases including medical malpractice cases, construction accident cases (Labor Law 240, 241c), motor vehicle accident cases, premises liability cases as well as cases against municipalities.

He also has substantial experience representing firefighters and police officers in cases predicated upon General Municipal Law 205, also referred to as the “Fireman’s Rule”. Early in his career, Christian was mentored by top civil defense attorneys and top plaintiff attorneys in New York City. He possesses in-depth experience in the methodology, perspectives, and strategies of both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. He possesses strong legal research, writing, analysis, negotiation, and trial advocacy skills. Christian. has recovered tens of millions of dollars for personal injury clients and has handled several high-profile cases that received media attention. Christian was born in Flushing, New York. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from St. John’s University in 1997 and a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2000. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the Federal District Courts for the New York Southern and Eastern Districts.

JOSHUA VERSOZA

Mr. Versoza is a zealous advocate for personal injury plaintiffs in a legal career that spans over 10 years.
